Canon error 6000
The paper feed mechanism is blocked, or the output tray is closed while the printer tries to print.
How to fix it
- Open the paper output tray fully, including its extension.
- Turn the printer off and remove any paper, paper clips or objects from the trays and the paper path.
- Remove any objects sitting on top of the printer or in front of the output slot.
- Turn the printer back on.
Is it worth fixing?
Almost always fixable at home. If it persists with nothing in the way, the feed rollers or gears need service.
