Canon error 5200
The print head overheated. This usually happens when the printer keeps printing with an empty cartridge.
How to fix it
- Check the ink levels and replace any empty cartridge.
- Turn the printer off and unplug it for 10 minutes so the head can cool.
- Remove and reseat the print head and cartridges until they click.
- Turn the printer on and run a print head cleaning from the printer menu or the Canon software.
Is it worth fixing?
Often fixed by new ink and a rest. If it returns every time, the print head is damaged.
