Canon error 1000
The printer cannot find paper in the tray it is trying to use.
How to fix it
- Load paper into the tray selected in the print settings (rear tray or front cassette).
- Push the paper all the way in and slide the guides against the edges of the stack.
- Fan the paper so the sheets do not stick together, and use fewer than the maximum sheets.
- Press OK or Stop on the printer to continue.
Is it worth fixing?
Always a quick fix. If the tray is full and it still says no paper, clean the feed rollers with a slightly damp lint-free cloth.
