Brother error Cover is Open
A sensor thinks a cover is open.
How to fix it
- Open and firmly close the front cover and the back cover.
- Check nothing is stopping a cover from closing fully, such as a jammed sheet.
- Turn the printer off and on.
Is it worth fixing?
If it persists with all covers shut, a cover sensor tab is broken and needs a small repair.
